3 Amigos in Yorktown

I LOVE this place. It feels like home. So comfortable. The service is literally always great. The staff is friendly but not over friendly. The restaurant is clean. The food is better than the other Mexican restaurants in the area. The outdoor seating is lovely. Try their California fish taco, carnitas, Fresca margarita, or table side guacamole. This place is a real local gem.

Excellent food!

We got into town late and this place was very close the hotel. We walked 15 minutes before closing and we ordered to go ( much to the staff's relief). They loaded us down with huge portions and it was delicious! We had a beer while waiting for the food. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Great food and excellent service

Really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. I was greeted as soon as I walked and was taken to a table right away. I arrived around dinner time and still had a place to sit. The have a pretty decent sized bar that looks to seat about 8-9 people. Every meal that I tried was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want some good Mexican food.

Prices have gone up. Friendly service. Food not what it use to be.

The food and service were good.

The service was better than the food. The drinks were pretty good however the food was average compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to. The decor and menu selection was typical for the type of restaurant. Other than our servers, there was nothing exceptional or different that stood out for me on this visit. Not sure if I'll be returning in the future. Maybe for a drink and some chips, but I won't touch the food again.

This is a perfect destination for anyone looking to dine on lighter authentic Mexican fare, or as a backup destination when Texas Roadhouse is slammed. I chose to indulge and had the burrito degollado, stuffed with chicken, chorizo sausage, fajita veggies, rice, beans, and smothered with nacho cheese. My wife chose the lighter option of pollo chipolte, which was two pounded chicken breast fillets braised in chipolte adobo, covered with sauteed mushrooms, and served with steamed vegetables and rice pilaf. As for authentic: they do have options here. They have corn flautas drizzled with dark moles. There is a wide selectiomln of tequilas, and the bar is well-stocked.

Very good Mexican restaurant. Seems like there are a good amount of authentic dishes. Salsa is nice and spicy. Great variety of lunch specials. My only gripe. The shredded chicken they use for things has a TON of onions and peppers in it. Most people will like this, it's flavorful chicken as opposed to the tasteless boiled chicken some places use. But I personally hate onions, so I spent a good bit of time picking them out. Again, that's my problem. It was very tasty, and much more authentic than others. I just wasn't ready for it. Would come back for sure

They took almost a hour to prepare a to go order of California Fries when they promised 10 min. The front staff were very rude to my daughter (who is 13 and learning to go in and pick things up by herself) when she asked for the order. She is extremely shy and felt very awkward. Had she not begged me not to go in and raise Caine on the staff who mistreated her, they would have been made well aware that their lack of professionalism and rude behavior is not acceptable! I will never go to nor order take out from the Kiln Creek location ever again!

It's not bad no vegan items but you can create your own

Good food and very good service. Ask for the white sauce when you sit down. Edit- read the ridiculous comment below about having a drink spilled on them and the manager comping the drink and offering dry cleaning and added a star. Accidents happen and you're upset that he asked if you needed dry cleaning? Get over yourself

IF You want Close to Authentic and not TXMex... This is the spot for you. I have eaten Mexican food all across the USA. Each location is always a bit different, which makes Eating Mexican food a Passion of mine. This is by far my most favorite Mexican food eatery in Hampton Roads. Clean, nice quantity, and reasonable pricing. Good adult beverages too.

Good food with warm comfortable seating & quick service.

I went to 3 Amigos yesterday for Cinco de Mayo and the service was horrible! I and a ton of other people waited an hour and 15 minutes or more for our food and when I got home, they didn’t put my complete order in my bag! It was chaotic and unorganized. The girl at the register was unprofessional and clearly didn’t know how to handle a large group of people. I thought that since it was Cinco de Mayo, and they are a Mexican restaurant, they would’ve been prepared for a large number of people. It’s not like they were serving tables. Just take the order, cook it, and hand it out! They failed miserably at it yesterday.

Excellent... In my 10 years of on and off patronage... The quality of this establishment is unchanged. My friends and I enjoyed our patronage and will continue to comeback 💖

Excellent drinks and food. Bartender s are very good at making their signature drinks. Beware the large drinks are huge! Overall a great experience.

The food was excellent as well as the drinks. The prices were very reasonable but let me say again that the food was excellent. If I could give 10 Stars I definitely would. The service was fast and the waiters were very knowledgeable about the menu choices. We were so full because of how much they gave that we took some home that night and had some for breakfast the next day too. Perfect location

This place was delicious. The server Ephraim was very kind respectful and always checking to see if I needed anything. The girls, one sat me at my table the other gave me chips. They were always smiling and happy to serve. I recommend this place. Everyone's experience is different of course, my experience was great though.

Half a pineapple stuffed with seafood and grilled pineapple. Outstanding.

Went to have dinner tonight, we waited quite a long time to even have a server come to take our drink order. Then we had to wait again to get our order in. What sent me over the edge is the fact that when we where finished with or meal we waited 20 minutes for our waitress. I finally got up to get our waitress to find her sitting at the bar with her feet up on a stool and on her phone. I asked to talk to the manager and he did nothing about our terrible service and was seen joking with the waitress. The restaurant should really think about the professionalism of their wait staff and managers.

As I have been to other Mexican restaurants, I feel confident to encourage you to come here as their menu is different from others and portion sizes are very generous!! Food is delicious and freshly prepared once you have ordered. Staff is attentive and friendly, and do not rush you through so you can enjoy your meal and your ompanions. 😊

My whole drink was spilled all over me by the waiter as he was serving it. I was soaked from my knees up to my waist and ate with bar towels over my lap to stay somewhat warm. The manager came over apologized asked if I was going to need dry cleaning service. Really?! For Jean's and a t shirt. The drink that was spilled was not charged however the rest of our meal and drinks were. That was my second time there so as I was leaving I advised that manager I would not come back there and a few other feelings I had was shared.

Probably the best Mexican food I've had since moving here from Texas. Good margaritas, portions are very sizable, and we had good services as well! Definitely be back to try some more of what they offer.

Good food that pleases the locals but I wish they had a few hidden truly-authentic daily specials on the menu.

My first time visiting this restaurant and i was not disappointed, i loved the food and the service was good. They also offer military discount that is pretty much appreciated.

The flavors were decent... service was average... but they use queso on things where u should be using melted shredded cheese. Not a fan. Drink order was wrong also.. probably will not go back.

Delicious! Service was good. Im a little picky about my margarita. Server assisted with a good selection. Desserts presentation was impressive.

Food was good. I ordered arroz con pollo. There was more chicken with not much rice and barely any of the cheese sauce I paid extra for. I was not impressed with the customer service. I was not asked how everything was and had to wait 10 min for the waiter to stop and ask if I was ready for my check after he walked by around 10 times stopping at everyone's table but mine.

I mean this Mexican restaurant is great. So much different types of food to choose from it can be a little pricey but i would say it's very worth it. The most expensive dish i saw was 24.99 but it was a big dish. I'm definitely coming back to this place again this is a five stars for me definitely recommend if your looking for a Mexican restaurant or just somewhere to eat this is a great place.

Great happy hour food and drink specials. We sat at the bar top and the bar tenders were all very friendly and made sure we had a good experience.

Food was good prices were good service was very good

Like a proper Mexican restaurant you do get your fill of bottomless chips and salsa, and though their chips are a little thicker than I prefer, their salsa is really quite good. I ended up getting the fajitas which seemed to be the best value and variety of food. Very pleasant staff too — I recommend.
